Leopard seal. Leopard seals bark like dogs. They can open their mouth about 90 degrees, which makes them look like a snake. They eat fish, krill and penguins.

Seal hangout. Even from a distance, seal
hangouts are easy to see. I went over to these two. The pictures are below.
Elephant seals on beach. The penguins sometimes walked right over the top of these boulder-like elephant seals.
Moulting elephant seals. There's a slight smell of fish in the penguin colonies. No big deal. But the elephant seals absolutely stink. They haul up on shore to moult their fur and lay there in urine and excrement, their fur coming off in strings and sheets, rotting. They're irritable and snarl when anyone in the pack even moves. They also blow mites out their noses with forceful exhales that sound like huge farts.
